We donated for this boy’s surgery, with thanks to Bull Breed Rescue for the amazing job they are doing.

“New arrival – Ace came to us from the CCC pound just over a week ago & he’s been happily settling into foster care. This special boy has been in the pound since March so he was very eager to jump in the car for his freedom ride.
As you can see, Aces eyes are unusual. His third eyelid covers almost the entirety of his eye so this obviously impairs his vision a lot. He can see light & shadows, and you’ll often catch him with his head down looking over the top of his lids like a human would look over the top of their specs.
We believe his eyes have been like this for over a year & the vets are unsure of the definite cause – could be nerve damage, tumours, trauma, neuro etc. On Wednesday he’s booked in for surgery to pin the eyelid down and restore as much as his vision as possible, as well as X-rays to try and find the root cause. We are so excited to see those beautiful hazel eyes looking back at us!
This is not going to be a cheap surgery & follow up, so any help you can give for this sweet boy see again would be much appreciated
