Charlie

Update: After a medical event in the original adoptive family, we arranged to have Charlie returned to us. At just 3 months old, this joyful little guy radiates happiness and warmth, as always. He was excited to reunite with our loving pack, who all welcomed him back with open arms. While it’s wonderful to have Charlie with us again, we know he deserves a forever home that matches his vibrant spirit. We truly hope he finds a family as amazing as he is!

Puppy Charlie is almost 2 months and ready to find his awesome family!

Charlie is the definition of adorable, and a very affectionate and brave little guy. He is the heart of the party here at JDC, with all dogs loving him. He has been very well socialized and has great human and dog to dog skills. He is an inquisitive, happy and intelligent puppy with the perfect pet temperament. Charlie will be a medium to small dog as an adult, and we believe he is a British Bulldog x. He had a bumpy start of life/ At the time Charlie arrived here at JDC, he was a tiny puppy riddled with fleas and subsequent skin infections, which now have been treated and solved. Charlie is eating Dr Hills Derm for puppy diet at the moment, to help his coat recover. Charlie had the first vaccinations; he is microchipped and registered with NZCAR. Charlie is house trained provided that he is left out often, according to his age. He is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night.

Charlie will suit an owner or family that will give him a lot of love and a lot of cuddles – he deserves to be spoiled! He will not be a high energy dog, and he is not a barker, but he needs to be included in the family and be with his people most of the time.
