Patches

We are happy to introduce Patches, our handsome and loving 3-month-old rescue puppy. Patches has the perfect pet temperament, characterized by gentle demeanor and friendly attitude. He does not have a competitive or shy nature, making him an ideal companion for both individuals and families alike. This well-balanced little guy is very eager to integrate into the big dogs’ group, displaying excellent social skills that allow him to interact comfortably with dogs of all sizes. His great K9 skills ensure that he is well-prepared for any doggy gathering at the dog park.

Patches is exceptionally friendly toward people, often aiming to stay close to you, which enhances the bond he forms with his human companions. He seeks out attention and affection, making him the perfect cuddle buddy after a long day. At just three months old, he is at an age where he can be trained to coexist harmoniously with other animals, cats and birds, allowing for a versatile living environment. His high food motivation serves as a beneficial tool in his training, making the learning process enjoyable for both him and his trainers.

As for his physical characteristics, Patches is expected to be a medium-sized dog, and based on his litter’s attributes, he may be a mix of Boxer. He is the lightest colored puppy in his litter, with a wonderfully soft coat that is perfect for snuggling. Among his littermates, he is known as the cuddle buddy, which has made him a favorite not just among potential adopters but also among the staff at the rescue. We want Patches to be spoiled!

Patches is a calm and curious puppy who doesn’t bark excessively or have overly high energy, making him a great choice for a multitude of households. He’s an intelligent and thoughtful little guy, always observing his surroundings with curiosity and a calm demeanor. His eagerness to learn and gentle nature make him a wonderful addition to any household. He’s passed his vet check with flying colors, has his first vaccinations, is microchipped, and is registered in the Companion Animal database. Currently located in BoP, Whakatane, we accept applications from across the country, but due to his age, the adoptive family will need to travel to pick him up.
