Sasha

Sasha is a young, friendly and happy German Shepherd x with a vibrant, gentle and friendly temperament. She is one of the dogs that wholeheartedly smile when happy. She is very smart and very food motivated and loves people and other dogs.

Sasha is a pound rescue. She was abandoned tied to a tree deep in the bush, without any food or water. Her only chance for rescue was the road workers who heard her muffled cries from up the hill. An amazing local Animal Control officer climbed and searched through thick bush all the way to the top of the hill and found her. Despite what she has been through, or maybe exactly because of her heroic rescue, Sasha is an incredibly grateful, happy and friendly soul.

Sasha is very well behaved, great on leash and has a heart full of love for people and other dogs, including her female companions. She recently passed her comprehensive vet check with flying colors. She is ready to find her forever home, arriving microchipped, NZCAR registered, and fully vaccinated, filled with hope for a joyful life ahead.
