Update: Violet’s adoption unfortunately didn’t go through, though it was absolutely no fault of Violet or the owner. The owner is an exceptional person who was attached to Violet and donated a very generous amount towards Violet’s desexing, even though she cannot take her home.

Violet has been and will remain in our care, being currently on heat. She will be out of heat and desexed by JDC Rescue before adoption. She will be ready for a wonderful new home after her desexing and recovery. Medium small, gentle, and delicate, Violet is a precious pound rescue in need of a loving home. We believe Violet is a small sighthound x, perhaps with a blend of JRT and staffy in her lineage. She is the size of a small staffy with the allure, demeanor and grace of an Italian Greyhound. We estimate that Violet is around 4 years old.

Violet has a warm and friendly nature, exuding a delicate gentleness, and is exceptionally clean. She adores curling up in her human’s lap, burying her face against their chest, soaking in their affection. With a friendly disposition towards all the other dogs here, she is truly a sponge for love, yet she also values her solitary moments when needed. This beautifully well-behaved little dog truly deserves a gentle and loving home where she can thrive.
