Meet sweet SILVER, a beautiful and gentle silver and golden colored pound rescue boy, under one year old. Silver’s past is a mystery—he was abandoned in a remote area, which is heartbreaking considering what a gem of a dog he is. He’s considerate, well-mannered, gentle, with a medium energy level and a gorgeous coat. He loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and longs for connection and affection. There’s a touch of sadness in his eyes, visible in photos, a sadness that will only fade in the care of a deeply loving home and his special person.

We think Silver might have some border collie in him, judging by his coat, though his personality is impressively laid-back. There could also be a touch of sighthound in the mix. He’s medium to large in size, crate trained, and exceptionally clean. He takes food and treats with perfect manners and would make a relaxed, easygoing, and delightful companion. He heels beautifully off-leash on walks and isn’t a barker, making him a great match for city living.
