Biggie’s Surgery Day!

Thank you so much to everyone who supported Biggie on her journey with donations, prayers or, simply, love and encouragement!!!

Above all, words can’t say how grateful we are for the people who made Biggie’s surgery possible today: it wasn’t optional. Biggie would’ve been euthanatized on 22th of December if we didn’t hold a small spark of hope that we can make this surgery possible, while feeding 20 other rescues: and WE DID!

7: 50 – we are few min. early, Biggie waiting in the car at the vet for her big day…. Bit grumpy and hungry but no food before surgery!!

8:15: Biggie is with our awesome vets – she will start the surgery at 9 am.

Please keep this girl in your thoughts today, she fought so hard and so did we all, especially the awesome people who donated and made it possible for her to have a chance to live!!!

2:38 PM – Fantastic news – Biggie is out of surgery, everything went well, and she will be kept overnight for monitoring and pain relief adjustment.

She will require hydrotherapy for at least 3 months to rebuild mobility, but she should be back to normal after that, with no physio for the rest of her life, which is absolutely amazing!!!!
