In just the past five months, JDC has rehomed over 90 dogs, including urgent cases, and recently saved nine wonderful, vaccinated puppies with parvovirus from certain death.
We live by our principle that Every Dog Matters, but the journey hasn’t been easy. Without proper infrastructure support at our current leased site, half the grounds are now cordoned off indefinitely. Parvovirus can survive in soil for up to seven years or more, even after thorough decontamination, posing a risk to new dogs.
We know rescuing those nine lives was the right choice, and we’re committed to continue fighting for every life in the future. That’s why we’re relocating and building concrete isolation quarters for all future small litters, while K9 residents over 11 weeks old will have a safe, separate space to roam.
This massive project involves securing new leases and consents, laying concrete platforms, creating top-quality accommodations, setting up utilities, and ensuring safe transportation for all our rescue dogs.
As we finalize these agreements, your support is vital. JDC is entirely self-funded, dedicated to excellent care while keeping adoption fees low so every dog gets a chance at a loving home. Every donation, big or small, makes a huge difference for our beautiful rescues!
