Vaianu Cyclone Update

JDC Rescue Update 12.04.26, 8:16 AM: So far, so good. Vaianu is looming around more than predicted: no landfall yet (was supposed to happen at 4 am).

All the dogs are fed, have been outside, and are now back in their dry, insulated blocks, just in case things get rough later. Paired up the Fantastic 8 (six still on site) so everyone has a roommate for comfort if the weather turns nasty. The little ones are inside. The kennel area is sturdier than the cottage, so humans might borrow one for the night, lol.

The ground is saturated with leftover surface water from the last rain, keeping an eye on the water level for a possible emergency plan B. Overall, we’re all good and intend to keep it that way through the cyclone
