Sophie

Meet Sophie – a stunning rescue with a very stable and people and dog friendly temperament. Sophie has been a chained dog, and the silver line scar around her neck is a reminiscence of those dark times for her. She ended up pregnant at a young age and she has been abandoned on the beach together with her wee ones. Despite everything that she has been through, Sophie is a ray of sunshine. She is such a happy, playful, trusting dog, with a very stable and people friendly temperament.

She is very trusting and loving with people. She knows basic commands, and she is very happy to play with toys/ fetch and our other dogs on site. Sophie is very gentle when handfed and very happy to be touched. She is not easily startled, nor anxious or triggered by sounds, movement or strangers. She was well socialized and loved at some point in her life, and she has been taught good domestic manners before being chained.

Sophie needs an absolutely wonderful home, as she has already been through enough, at less than 2 years of age. She needs to be spoiled with a lot of love and attention. We can arrange transportation NZ wide for the right home for her.
