Please let us introduce puppy Alice. She is almost 8 weeks old, a mastiff x, and joined JDC Rescue as an emergency rescue puppy at almost 5 weeks.
Alice and her litter went through a parvo outbreak, against all odds, she fought hard and made a full recovery, now thriving—gaining weight and enjoying life as a happy puppy! She’s eager to bond with people, friendly, and well-behaved. Her love for food is a big plus for training, and she has great focus and eye contact. She gets along with puppies and older dogs, though the cat still intimidates her.
Alice is a mastiff cross, so she’s expected to be a large dog when fully grown. She’ll need to be desexed once mature and will be adopted microchipped, with lifetime NZCAR registration and a tailored vaccination schedule. While she’s already immune to parvovirus, she’ll still need to complete her vaccinations to protect against other illnesses. To protect other dogs, she should be kept away from puppies and unvaccinated adult dogs until March.
If you are interested in Alice, please fill an adoption inquiry and book a time to see her on JDCRescue – Adoption Inquiry.
