Roby is a cute, affectionate fluff ball of a Border Collie mix, with a medium-small mum that hints at his adult size. He’s one of the most laid-back and loving pups in his litter, making him an ideal companion for both individuals and families alike. With his gentle demeanor and friendly nature, Roby easily wins the heart of everyone he meets.

Roby is a thinker; he contemplates options before making a move, showcasing his intelligent and inquisitive personality. He is very chill and keen to have eye contact, demonstrating a strong bond with his handler and an eagerness to understand their cues. His ability to connect with people is simply heartwarming. Moreover, he is very friendly and collaborative with all the other dogs, while also being respectful of the resident cat, which is a valuable trait in multi-pet households.

Having been raised around stock, Roby has a natural instinct and adaptability that makes him well-suited to a variety of environments. He has been fully vaccinated, microchipped, and has a clean bill of health, ensuring that he is ready to find a loving home. Roby enjoys chilling in the sun, relishing the warmth, as well as curling up as a lap dog, providing companionship and comfort. Most of all, he enjoys being involved in whatever is going on around him, making him a true family member who thrives on social interactions.

If you’re looking for a loving friend to join you on your daily adventures, Roby might just be the perfect match for you. If you want to meet this delightful pup, please fill out an adoption inquiry form and book a time to visit. We are based in Whakatane and adopt nationwide, provided that the owner can travel to meet him. Don’t miss the opportunity to bring this lovable ball of fur into your home!

We did not DNA test, but the mom was a small whippet type – probably whippet with a small breed, and the puppies have definitely Border Collie from their dad.

Thankyou..they sound perfect. However im in the south island. We live on a 2.7ha lifestyle property in Hanmer springs near the river. We have 2 horses and free range chooks. We would prefer a female. We lost our last Collie x at 16yrs old and now ready for a new dog. Im around home alot as I run my own Massage Therapy business. We love tramping/ riding / hunting/ camping and afternoon snooze in the sun. We have 3 adult children with partners that come and go..no grandchildren yet . What’s the adoption fee please. Kind regards Julie

The adoption fee is 290. We have few females from another litter and Biggie, who is around 1 year old. We are happy to adopt nationwide and have some puppies who went to Chc and Invercargill, provided that the owner can travel
