Katherine is a stunning young Chesapeake Bay Retriever (possibly mix?), about 15 months old. She’s gentle and a bit shy with new people but quickly builds trust and will happily follow you once she feels a little love. There’s a touch of sadness in her lovely golden eyes, which we hope will disappear when she finds her forever family. She’s well-socialized with other dogs, though she tends focus more on her handler than on them. With an impressive attention span, she’s a polite, calm pup who walks nicely on leash and isn’t a barker.
Katherine is looking for a new home in an urban area as a pet only. She’s medium-sized, microchipped, and registered with the council through 2026. Her vaccination status is currently unknown.
Katherine is currently at our BOP subsidiary in Toatoa. We offer nationwide adoptions as long as the new owner can travel. If you’re interested in this wonderful pup, please submit an adoption inquiry at JDCRescue.com and schedule a time to meet her.
