Goldie, Bambi and Snuggles

Still heartbroken – another call came in about three beautiful little ones found in Whakatane over the weekend, abandoned in a cardboard box with no water, no food, not even a blanket, in freezing temperatures. They’re not even six weeks old, not weaned yet, ripped straight from their mom and dumped on the road like trash. What kind of person could do that, and still call themselves human? There are so many other options: wait one day and take them to a vet, contact a rescue, rehome them. Wait just two more weeks so they can have their time with their mom, and deal with the problem you created responsibly! These are brand-new, innocent lives – they didn’t ask to be born but were brought into this world through their people’s neglect.Lost for words. It never, ever ends…

Bambi, Snuggles, and Blondie are now warm, well-fed, and, though still a bit upset, slowly settling into their new, loving environment. They’ve just been dewormed and are getting used to Blackhawk puppy food and puppy milk. We’ll be sharing regular updates – they’re beautiful, healthy, and will be ready for wonderful homes to make up for their past in just a couple of weeks.

    Hey

is snuggles up for adoption? My husband and I are looking for a little friend. We live & work in Te Puke during the week and travel home to the farm in Mahoenui at the weekends so wondering if snuggles would like to join our car rides and adventures?

Snuggles will be up for adoption shortly 🙂 She is very young (6 weeks or less) and we are giving her a bit more time with her siblings 🙂
